Whats skills do I need to use Dream Consultancy CMS?
Basic computer skills similar to those needed to send an email, Microsoft word and browse the Internet. What do I need to have ready for my website?
a. Any logos and images associated with your corporate ID or colors you prefer. This information will be needed when you complete the design brief.
b. You can start to plan your copy explaining your products and services. Do this in a word document while we are designing your website. Any extra images can be gathered as well. I have an existing site, how do I upgrade to Dream Consultancy CMS?
We work through the initial design process as with all new clients. Incorporating your existing corporate ID as per your instructions. You will easily be able to copy and paste information from your existing site to your new site using the simple content management system. I am on a Apple Mac, can I use your CMS?
Yes! Dream COnsultancy websites can be edited on Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
How many products can your shopping cart hold?
Our shopping carts are designed to handle anything from 2-2000 products or more. You have an unlimited amount of products and categories. Does your shopping cart work out the shipping automatically?
Dream Consultancy's shopping cart solution has ability to calculate shipping weights and costs. The visitor can also view a shipping quote before check if you wish to make that available. Do you design the look and feel of the shopping cart?
The Dream Consultancy's shopping cart package comes with a full website design tailored to your desired look and feel. The engine of the shopping cart will remain robust and ensure the visitors have an enjoyable (and simple) buying experience. Can I have colour and size options for each product?
Yes. We call these options 'attributes', you can have as many attributes as you need, e.g. colour, size, length, weight, even text the visitor can type in.
Do I have to register a domain name?

All websites must be installed on to a regsitered domain name, you can BYO or register a domain with us. I already have a domain name, can I buy a Dream Consultancy website?
Yes. Simply let us know in the design brief and we will work with you to get your domain name pointing to our nameserver. (It's a very simple process.) Can I transfer my domain name so everything is in one place?

Yes. You will remain the legal owner of the domain name you register with Dream COnsultancy. Can I move my domain name if I no longer host with Dream Consultancy?
Yes. You will remain the legal owner of the domain name you register with Dream Consultancy. The name can be moved or transferred. How do I access my emails?
You can access your emails via webmail by logging in to yoursite.com.au/webmail, from any Internet browser at any time.
Or you can also set up your email software (e.g. Outlook or Thunderbird) to receive emails directly into your inbox. This can be alongside any personal email accounts you currently receive e.g. optus or bigpond.
We can also set up a forwarder to go to any exising email account you wish to keep running. What is hosting?
Hosting is the space you rent on a server to park your website so it can be found on the world wide web.
Can my website be hosted elsewhere?
Yes, you can rent hosting space somewhere else. In this case you will be charged setup fee from us. You have added advantage of not paying set up fees if you host your website with Dream Consultancy. What’s the difference between hosting and domain registration?
Hosting is the space you rent on a server to make your site available online, the domain is the website address.
